THE FIZZING - DISSOLVING SPRAY BOTTLE!
James, from Landenberg, PA wrote:
"I used a one-quart plastic
spray bottle to dissolve ½ oz Stain Solver. A few hours
later I picked up the spray bottle and it was leaking profusely. Closer
inspection showed it was dissolving! (the spray bottle is from Trader
Joe's and once held their green all-around cleaner.) I see that Tim
uses a Windex spray bottle. Have you heard of anyone having the
"dissolving spray bottle" problem??"

The bottle is not dissolving. What's happening is all of the
stain fighting oxygen is trying to escape from the bottle!
never a good idea to put Stain Solver solution in a sealed bottle, even
a spray bottle for too long.
As soon as you mix Stain Solver with water it starts to create
the stain-fighting oxygen ion that travels through the solution, then
it escapes the liquid as a gas. This gas buildup can cause leakage from
the bottle or even cause a weak bottle to pop.
