Deck Cleaned & Stained
Attached you'll find some before and after pictures. I believe I was told before/after picture can get me a discount which would be most appreciated. Pictures are worth a 1000 words, but I want to make sure a few words aren't left out.
Here they are:
- I have done multiple decks and from here on out I will not do any deck without Stain Solver. Plain and Simple. I remember doing previous decks with stain remover, spilling product on my arm, and feeling my skin burn. Why would I do that again?
- I love the fact that I don't have to worry about the vegetation, all survived.
- There were just a few spots where a previous stain had not come up which required either more sanding or a skin melting product. I chose sanding.
- I proceeded to apply Behr's semi transparent stain based on your deck guide that I purchased AND consumer reports high rating.
As of now, I feel that I should have checked more sources. In fact, on my consumer reports website subscription, many users wrote in with complaints on the product which now as an overall 1 out of 5 stars. I echo their complaints of the fact that it looks like paint, and already peeled in one spot! It's already extremely dirty after only 4 weeks.
Feel free to check consumer reports yourself. I'm not complaining at you. Just sharing my experience. Do with that information, what you deem fit. Depending on how Behr holds up, I'll be trying out a product called Structures next time.
I'm nervous because many homeowners wrote in saying they had to reapply the next year. I'm happy to answer any and all questions.
Please let me know about the discount on Stain Solver. Love that product.
Thanks for all you do Tim,"
Below are the pictures that Jim forwarded. The deck looks great!
