Removing Treated Lumber Grade Stamps

Email this page.

I have purchased some pressure treated lumber that has purple printing on it. I can't find anything (other than sanding) to remove it. Can Stain Solver remove these marks?

Thank you for any help you can offer."

The ink used to mark lumber is pretty permanent. They do that so it can be seen for months by building inspectors.

There's a remote chance Stain Solver might remove it, but I can't guarantee it.

Stain Solver has done wonders for people getting ink out of clothes and furniture as well as some permanent markers.

The key would be mixing up a strong solution and allowing the Stain Solver to soak on the lumber for up to three hours.
