Clean Kitchen Exhaust Fan Filters with Stain Solver
It’s very easy to clean greasy kitchen exhaust fan filters using Stain Solver.
Watch the video below to see how to do it.
It’s the SAME PROCESS to clean an exhaust fan filter even though Tim is showing soaking an iced-tea strainer in the video.
All you have to do is fill the a shallow plastic pan with a gallon or two of HOT tap water and pour in one cup of Stain Solver.
Allow the exhaust fan filter to soak overnight.
Do final cleaning in a dishwasher after soaking or lightly scrub the filter by hand with normal liquid dish soap and water.
IMPORTANT SUCCESS TIPS:
- the shallow plastic pan needs to be large enough so the oven rack sits FLAT in the pan
- use a minimum amount of water so the rack is just covered with water
