Pressure Washer Use and Stain Solver

Pressure Washer Use and Stain Solver

A very common question we get is, “Can I use Stain Solver in my pressure washer?”

Some people call a pressure washer a power washer.

What they want to know is can they add the Stain Solver powder into the soap tank on the pressure washer.

The answer is you can add it, but it won’t do much good.

We don’t recommend you do this because the amount of water flowing through the machine DILUTES the Stain Solver too much.

It’s best to apply Stain Solver to exterior walls, decks, roofs, concrete driveways, patios, etc. with a professional hand-pump garden sprayer.

You can use a pressure washer to rinse off the surfaces once the Stain Solver solution has worked for 15-30 minutes.

SUCCESS TIPS: If you decide to use one of these machines that squirts out water at pressures higher than 1800 pounds per square inch (psi), realize they can do extreme damage to softer surfaces.

The soft light-colored bands of spring wood will be eroded faster than the darker summer-grained bands. After a few washings, your deck will look like an old fishing pier.

The machines will also rapidly erode the colored cement paste on precast concrete paving brick.

They’ll also squirt water deep into cracks anywhere on the sides of your home.

In conclusion, if you decide to use a pressure washer, do so with great care.
